The darkest of Flynn's three — and that's saying something. Sharp Objects goes to places Gone Girl and Dark Places don't, with a main character whose trauma and backstory are as disturbing as the murders she's investigating. The plot twists are genuinely insane. Check the trigger warnings before you start — this one earns them. Not a casual thriller pick.
