My first MM romance, and I was not prepared for the emotional depth. The setting is dark and the romance has dark elements, but Niko and Bran genuinely adore each other. Niko's internal monologue is chaotic, hilarious, and keeps you flying through it. Twists I didn't see coming and a genuine happy ending. A beautiful story that happens to be dark.
