StandaloneBritt's take
I was crying on page one. Oskar Schell is nine years old, his father died on 9/11, and he takes you on a journey around New York City as he tries to cope with a world that doesn't make sense anymore. You'll laugh, cry, and process his grief right alongside him. One of my all-time favorite books.
