Book 2 in the Flesh and Fire series — start with A Shadow in the Ember first. I was obsessed from start to finish—it had action, emotional tension, high stakes, and major twists that kept me engaged. Long but never boring, the world building feels unique to other fantasy books I've read. The draken absolutely stole the show, per usual. The cliffhanger ending will have you reaching for the next one immediately.
