Book 3 in the Flesh and Fire series — start with A Shadow in the Ember first. Slower to start, but the second half picks up and the twist landed in a way I genuinely didn't see coming. Darker themes than the rest of the series — check the trigger warnings before diving in. If you've made it this far, you already know you're invested. Worth every page.
